Stakeholders
The Children's Book Project Phase II is managed in accordance
with the Project Constitution. The highest organ of the Project
is the Stakeholders' Meeting to which the CBP Board reports.
The Board
The CBP Board is composed of representatives of the stakeholders
i.e. the book writers, the book publishers, the booksellers,
the book designers and illustrators, the librarians and the
educationists. The Board is responsible for policy making and
supervision of implementation of CBP activities.
The CBP Committee
The Children's Book Committee is appointed by the Board and is charged with the responsibilities of selecting suitable books for purchase by CBP and assisting the Executive Secretary with the implementation of CBP activities as need may arise.
The CBP Ex-Secretary
The CBP Executive Secretary is responsible for running the project
and ensuring that the Project secures funding for its activities
and that the funds are expended expeditiously for the purposes
for which they have been earmarked. S/He ensures that project
activities are implemented efficiently.
